This is Joslyn Chacon from Mayde Creek high school FFA. I would just like to update you on my first steer, I had selection Saturday morning and got pick number 17 out of 41. My steer is number 6 and his name is Rebel. I am so excited for what is to come and I would love to keep you updated on my progress with Rebel.

Just wanted to update you on my progress with Rebel. On Sunday I was able to show rebel at the Austin County steer show. We received 2nd place in our class and got called back for reserve champion. It was a great experience and can't wait until our next show which is next month in Washington County. Thank you for your support in my experience with raising a steer.

This is Joslyn chacon with Mayde Creek FFA. On Saturday I competed at the Crosby Fair and Rodeo with my steer, Rebel and we got 3rd place in our class. Our last show will be February 19th at the Katy livestock show and rodeo, we hope to do well and hopefully get grand champion. Thank you for your support in this project it is very much appreciated.
