Katy Rotarians are people of action and their hard works make a difference in our community. Here are just a few of the important differences our members have created among our local residences and neighborhoods.
Katy ISD FFA Livestock Show
Our club is big in the local FFA program.  We provide scholarships for kids to purchase animals to be raised in the livestock show.  At the actual show, we purchase animals in the barn sale.  When then take those animals and have the meat processed.  This meat then is donated to local food pantries.
Rise Against Hunger
Our club loves to make a hands-on impact.  We have participated in this global movement for the past few years.  This day includes our entire families.  We have packaged over  27,000 meals and continue to do more.
Annual Toy Drive
We work with the local elementary schools to identify families in need that without assistance, they would not have a Christmas.  This is a great tradition that touches the lives of many children.
Paint USA
What better way to teach elementary students geography than to paint a large map of the United States on their basketball court!  This is an ongoing project to help all elementary schools in Katy and West Houston learn the importance of knowing your country.  We have painted over 40 maps and still going strong!
KISD Scholarships
Our biggest joy is awarding many scholarships to our graduating seniors in Katy ISD.  All proceeds from the Katy Triathlon help us award at least 13 scholarships a year.  The photos above are just a few past winners.

Disaster Relief
The WWBF and our club have carved out these funds to assist in emergency relief for our community and way beyond.  Our mission is to help those that are in need.  We've assisted in the tax day flood, Hurricane Harvey Flood, Hurricane Lara and Oregon Fires to name a few.  We stand ready when needed.
