Wild West Brewfest 2026 Rides into the Record Books
Katy's Beloved Annual Fundraiser Surpasses $1.5MM Milestone, Fueled by Community, Sunshine, and Pure Rotary Heart
KATY, TX — April 2026 — The boots have been hung up, the last cold brew has been poured, and the hats have been tipped — and what a celebration it was. The Rotary Club of Katy's Wild West Brewfest 2026 has officially crossed a landmark milestone, raising over $100,000 to support local and international charitable initiatives. It was a day that reminded everyone in attendance exactly what a community looks like when it shows up for one another.
Under a brilliant Texas sky and bathed in the kind of perfect spring weather that felt almost too good to be true, thousands of guests gathered to celebrate great craft beer, live entertainment, fine wines, and the unmistakable warmth that only a Katy crowd can bring. From the moment the gates swung open, it was clear this was going to be something special.
A Community That Gives Back
The funds raised at Wild West Brewfest don't simply disappear into a ledger — they come back to life in the communities we call home. From scholarships awarded to deserving local students who are the first in their families to pursue higher education, to support for youth leadership programs, literacy initiatives, and hunger relief efforts right here in the Houston area, every dollar raised at Brewfest carries a name and a story. Internationally, Rotary's mission to eradicate polio and bring clean water to communities in need continues to be powered in part by events just like this one. When you raised a glass at Wild West Brewfest, you were doing far more than celebrating — you were changing lives.
230 Volunteers. Zero Paychecks. Infinite Heart.
Perhaps the most remarkable story of Wild West Brewfest 2026 isn't the number on the check — it's the number of people who made it happen without ever being asked for anything in return. Over 230 volunteers gave their time, their energy, and their Saturday to ensure that every guest had an unforgettable experience. This event is — and always has been — 100% volunteer driven, from the first planning meeting months ago to the final cleanup crew that stayed until the very end.
These were the people managing Registration before the sun was fully up. The Volunteer Coordinators who kept hundreds of moving parts in perfect rhythm. The Operations team — the true backbone of this event — whose tireless work behind the scenes made everything else possible. The Beer Relations and Recovery teams who ensured every pour was cold and every keg accounted for. The Silent and Live Auction crews who created an electrifying bidding atmosphere. Signage, Entertainment, Hospitality, Vendors, the Wine Grotto, Transportation, and the TABC Permit team — every one of these twelve teams gave Brewfest its heartbeat.
To the team captains who led these incredible crews: your leadership, patience, and dedication were the backbone of this event. You didn't just manage logistics — you carried the spirit of Rotary on your shoulders all day long, and it showed.
Thank You, Rotary Club of Katy
None of this exists without the Rotary Club of Katy. This club — made up of business leaders, neighbors, parents, and friends — has built something truly extraordinary in Wild West Brewfest. Year after year, they pour their passion into this event not for recognition, but because they believe, in the deepest possible way, that service above self is not just a motto — it is a way of life. To every Rotarian who planned, promoted, sweated through setup, and celebrated a well-earned victory: thank you. Katy is a better place because of you.
To Our Sponsors, Vendors and Brewers — You Brought the Flavor
Wild West Brewfest is only as vibrant as the vendors and brewers who fill it with life, and this year's lineup did not disappoint. From the craft breweries that poured with pride to the food vendors who kept the crowd fueled, and the sponsors whose generosity made the entire event financially possible — you are not just participants in this event. You are partners in our mission. Thank you for believing in what we're doing and for choosing to be part of it.
To Everyone Who Came — Please Come Back
To every single person who walked through those gates, tried something new, danced a little, laughed a lot, and raised a glass to a good cause — this is your moment too. Wild West Brewfest exists because of you. Our sponsors write the checks, our volunteers run the show, but you are the reason it all matters. You chose to spend your Weekend with us, and that choice — multiplied by thousands — is what allowed us to cross the $100,000 threshold.
We hope you felt it. We hope you felt the warmth of the sun, the warmth of the crowd, and the warmth of knowing that your ticket, your bid, your purchase at a vendor booth, and your presence made a real and lasting difference.
Come back next year. Bring a friend. Bring your whole crew. Because the best Wild West Brewfest is always the next one — and we cannot wait to share it with you again.
